Since the establishment of PT. Surya Esa Perkasa Tbk (SEP) in 2006, all employees have performed every activity with priority to occupational safety. Until now, SEP has been awarded “Zero Accident Award” from the Ministry of Manpower Republic of Indonesia for eight consecutive years and SEP has awarded with the “PATRA NIRBHAYA KARYA PRATAMA” for four consecutive years by Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources & Directorate General of Oil & Gas.
“PATRA NIRBHAYA KARYA PRATAMA” is an award in the field of Oil and Gas Safety Work in the category of “Without Losing the Working Hours as result of the Accident” in which SEP has successfully attained 4.851.692 working hours without losing working days as result of the accident, for the period of July 1, 2007 until April 30, 2020.
The Company also received the “Occupational Safety and Health Management System (SMK3)” award with the title of GOLD CERTIFICATE for the first time from the Ministry of Manpower for achieving an outstanding audit result of 92.17% in the Advance level category. Moreover, the most important thing is how the company together with all employees can collaborate to create safety for workers and workers/company’s assets so that all the work is a shared responsibility.
A. SAFETY BRIEFING
The Company regularly organizes safety briefings or Toolbox Meetings to provide a means for employees to share work plans before carrying out their daily activities. Through this exercise, all employees in the office and at the plant can work together to prepare work equipment prior commencing any activities in order to ensure the creation of a safe work environment.
The Company provides regular training updates so that its employees are fully knowledgeable on the latest methods of implementing safety workplace procedure.
Every job provided by the Company always prioritizes the “ZERO ACCIDENT” safety target in all scope of works.
