Since the establishment of PT. Surya Esa Perkasa Tbk in 2006 until present, all employees work to preserve the environment, both internally and externally.
Internally, the management team has implemented the 5S system – a working process that complies with the following principles:
- Seiri (Brief/Sisih)
- Seiton (Cleanly/Row)
- Seiso (Resik/Broom)
- Seiketsu (Treat/Uniform)
- Shitsuke (Studious/Secure)
Externally, the company monitors all key metrics regularly. The monitoring attempts include both air emissions, noise and other water effluent. It is intended that the operational activities comply with the environmental regulations for the health continuance of employees and a sustainable environment.
One of the ways devised to accentuate our awareness is through a program called “Friday Morning Clean” for creating a clean working environment. The expectation for high quality standards are perhaps best exemplified by the happy team of live fish the team looks after in the retention pond.
